STOMACH INFRASTRUCTURE ZONING FORMULA FOR ABI/YAKURR: Part 3

Image
In continuation of promised unceasing reply to Okoi Obla’s nonsense or so called interview and writings, we have the following sense for him.  Hear him:  “The truth is that some people from my community felt that since I was out of the senate race, they should make political capital out of it and (sic) feel the vacuum created. But it is wrong to take such a trajectory because I became acceptable to my people due to the contributions I had made over the years. It is not because I lost out that some people should want to take advantage and try to create scenarios that will make Ugep look bad in the eyes of our neighbouring communities.”   If this is not sheer narcissism, someone should tell us what else. An admonition of this narcissism is the following legendary quotation of Abraham Lincoln, the topmost American president of all time and one of its most venerated heroes.   “Let not him who is houseless pull down the house of another but let him work dilige...

Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki has criticised the move by the Central Bank of Nigeria to redesign the naira, calling it a pure political plan, having nothing to do with economic reform. Speaking to pressmen during the inauguration of the Edo State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Women Campaign Council at the Presidential Campaign Secretariat in Benin City, the intent for redesigning of the naira by the CBN was an attempt to salvage the nosediving Naira as peddled around the media, but a political plan as there are other pressing issues. “They say we should all bring our naira and give it to them because they want to change it for us. Is that our priority now? How does changing of currency reduce the price of food in the market? They say they want to change our currency and dollars are going higher every day. We can’t even see dollars again,” the governor added. “I am an economist and I can tell you categorically that this policy by the CBN and Federal Government has ...

Image
Member representing Abi/Yakurr Federal Constituency, Hon. Alex Egbona of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has come under fire for a somewhat clear case of diversion and misappropriation of constituency funds. Social Media has been buzzing with different opinions laced with undulating emotions after the emergence of evidence clearly showing a Forty Eight Million Naira (₦48,000,000) approved for the Supply of Hybrid All-In-One Solar Street Lights in Abi/Yakurr Cross River State by the Federal Government. While it is clear that despite the approval and release of the project fund, a Solar Street Light Project was never executed in Abi/Yakurr Constituency under Egbona's watch, his Media aides have battled with little success to defend or deflect the accusation.  Commenting on a post on Facebook, One of his aides bragged that the incumbent House of Reps member, Alex Egbona, will still win the elections with a wide margin despite his perceived ill performance o...
