UGEP MARKET FIRE: Debra Rich Donates to Victims.
Following the inferno that hit parts of the Ugep main market in the early hours of Saturday, 15 April, the CEO, Debbies Entertainment Productions and Debra Table Water Company, Mr. Debra Rich Ikpi made a donation of ₦100,000 in cash to owners of the shops that were consumed by the fire.
Making the donation which he called "Widow's Might", Mr. Debra encouraged the victims not to lose hope in the face of adversity while waiting on God.
"I pray that God sends you more destiny helpers so that in the end, his name will be glorified" said the Donor who didn't want the news of the event to go public.
Receiving the gift, the leader of the group appreciated Mr. Debra and heaped praises on him as he prayed more blessings come his way in the future.
Residents of Ugep and environs had woken to the news of the incident on the eventful day with different emotions of anger, surprise, pity, etc. while the victims who were directly at the receiving end of the traumatic experience were largely confused.
The incident, a major fire incident consuming in totality, a whole block containing not less than 10 shops in Ugep main market is the first of its kind in modern history.
